Hi, I opened my nc10 and removed the mainboard. I heard about some warranty seals in notebooks. I didn’t see any but some ordinary tapes. Are there such warranty seals in the nc10?
I want to send the netbook to samsung but I am wondering if I have lost the warranty because I opened it?
did you not have to take the laptop to PC world and they have had a look at it??
if there was no tape or stickers of any kind i would not worry my n130 has no void stickers over it and i have had it apart a few time now
No I can send it directly to Samsung.
But that’s good to know! 🙂
In theory opening your netbook will void your warranty. Obviously this site can’t condone trying to cover it up, but who knows, maybe if you clearly haven’t tinkered with anything they will honour it.
Let us know what happens :)!
Worst case, you’ll have to pay for the repair. Still, if it’s repaired, that’s all that really matters…
