I came across this site this evening, whilst tryinjg to resolve a problem which is driving me nuts. It is great to find a dedicated site for the samsung netbooks and I am sure I will be a regular user now, reading the forums and discussions.
Starting from yesterday a selection of my keys on the keyboard won’t work at all…. and no it is the numbers lock keys. When I google the problem all that comes is are the issues where people don’t know about the numbers lock.
I have just plugged in my usb a full size keyboard so I can type this message, but it isnt ideal.
I have tried downloading the keyboard magic drivers and that didn’t change anything, so just haven’t a clue now. I have n’t spilt anything on it either……
I will type the alphabet now on the netbook keyboard, so you can see which keys work…. any help would be greatly appreciated.. Many thanks

It sounds as though you have a hardware problem with the keyboard.
However you could try removing and re-adding the UK keyboard in Region and Language, it may help.
You could try removing the keyboard as detailed in this thread and re-make the ribbon cable connection in case it has become loose.
Else replacement keyboards can be found reasonably inexpensively on ebay and a number of forum members have had luck in sourcing them there but the UK keyboard arrangement can be harder to find. Another source is laptopbits.co.uk
If the machine is still in warranty then a call to Samsung Support may be the best option
