Line on top of my screen

I woke up this morning and I noticed that there was a line on top of my screen. It is a solid, white line that takes up the whole horizontal part of the screen. I thought that it was some random windows glitch but I restarted my computer and it’s still there.

I am contacting Samsung as I type this to get it serviced/checked out.

Here’s a pic, hopefully someone has seen this problem before.

Does the line show while the computer is booting, when the Samsung logo appears?

EDIT: If it does then I would say it’s a hardware fault.

Yes it does show when the computer is booting, it is definitely a hardware fault. Now I have to send it to Samsung and get it repaired, but still, it’s not even a month old!

Looks like a line of “dead pixels”. Mine developed on along the right side about 1.5 inches in from the edge on the second day. I had to send mine back for replacement as well. 🙁

Sorry to hear about your issues mofata. I haven’t come across any other user with an issue like yours on this site but you’re right, a month old and developing a fault is odd.
