Hey guys, heres an update, I just received my Black Samsung NC20 from the US.
Bought from a reputable seller who’s shipped over 200 laptops on Ebay.Price= NC20 with 2GB RAM $599 USD + $80USD shipping. Total came to $830 AUD.
Under $1000 so no customs tax coming into Australia.Shipped on 9th by Seller with USPS Express International with Guaranteed receive date by 16th June. Arrived with one day to spare on the 15th so it took 5 working days, amazing!
My nc20 came with a 2GB RAM upgrade pre-installed by the ebay seller, he included the 1GB RAM chip as well in the packaging (for warranty return purposes). Very happy with well packed package and perfect condition of item, and would buy again from this ebay seller. Seller also checked for faulty pixels on screen because I was being pedantic as it was my first time buying an item like this from overseas 🙂
International Warranty seems to be covered for repair in Australia, but fingers crossed I wont be needing this – as I am heading to South America for 12 months in 3 weeks. I guess I could just as easily ship back to USA if needed from SA though.
Not alot of bloatware on the toy but I am going to format and install fresh XP Pro SP3 . I took a list of all the apps so that I can re-install the drivers upon format.
