Jay
Member…and as you’ll soon be able to tell, I’m a complete and utter newbie when it comes to this kind of stuff, so I was wondering if I could please have a little help?
It’s just that I was expecting to have to install a looooooooad of updates, drivers, etc., etc. I was basically expecting a lot of hassle, but my Windows 7 seems to be running perfectly on my netbook? I’ve had no problems in using the netbook at all so far, although that was only for about half an hour…
Not that I’m complaining, but it’s a little unsettling, a little unnerving… in a weird way. Makes me think that something is wrong, or will go wrong, and I’m just not aware of it…
Is there anything I SHOULD most definitely be updating/installing?
Thanks a lot for any help, guys.

MemberJust wondering about the differences between Ultimate and Home Premium. It would be great to hear from you how it works in terms of memory usage and battery life.

MemberHi Tony – that’s what I was thinking too, but I was a little worried after reading the ‘Drives Link and Issues’ thread. I was expecting one or two problems!
Mossie – I’ll be using the Netbook quite a lot over the next couple of days. It’s charged fully at 100% so I’ll report back, probably over the weekend, detailing the memory usage and battery life. From what I could tell by using it last night, it’s incredibly quick navigating around, as are the load up and shut down screens. Very, very quick and impressive. I love it!
Jeepers – random fact, but whenever I see you post, I instantly start singing ‘jeepers, creepers, where’d you get them peepers’ in my head 😀

Just got the higher resolution on my Sammy and wow…I love it! So much better now. Full screen Firefox and taskbar set to the right 🙂

MemberHi, I’m a newbie here. What do you mean “higher resolution”? Is there something I should be getting for my Sammy?
