MemberHope I don’t upset the Apple fanboys and fangirls. 🙂
I had big hopes when the Samsung Galaxy Tab was coming out. However they price themselves out with their opening price and one app in their apps store.
I thought the Motorola Xoom would be a great tablet. It also fall on the way side with their opening price.
Is there no one program that can sync everything to the Android tablet??? Kies is a piece of whatever …
Now that I have seen the specs for iPad 2, I am going for the 16G wifi.
I was waiting for the cameras as well as the iMovie app among others.March 8, 2011 at 1:34 pm #218396jez
MemberIt seemed obvious to me that the tablet manufacturers would have to do something a bit special to compete with Apple. Add killer features, drop the price, make it super light, whatever… but it looks like they missed their window of opportunity to gain market share and momentum.
The Galaxy Tab has dropped in price but it now seems “old” to me.
To be honest I think the thing that will finally get me to buy a tablet will be a drop in price of the better spec models to <ÂŁ200. I love the idea of a tablet but I'm not sure I'd really use it enough to justify the cost. Great fun for travel or to have in the living room but I think I will find myself resorting to my netbook!
Let us know how you get on with the iPad!

There appears to be some recent flash support available for the iPad although it may be limited at the moment.
