Hi everyone, i feel great that i can joint this forum. hope that i can get lots of thing about sammy netbook.
i just bought my first sammy yesterday, my first love is nf310, but unfortunately, they don’t sell it it here in my country, they only have the nf210, n another modification from it, nf208. it has quite the same spec as nf210, just it comes with free Dos, no os, 2gb of ddr3 instead of 1gb, n 320 gb of hdd, this one seems that because of no recovery drive for windows 7, coz it doesn’t come with 7 starter..
with nf210 at $449 n nf208 at $389, i chose nf208, planning to use linux on it, but haven’t donlod one yet…
i will share again after succeding with linux…

i’m from Indonesia… i don’t kno what other countries that also selling nf208.
instead of my regret they don’t sell nf310 in my country, currently i’m so satisfied with my nf208…
this sammy is great…They don’t sell the NF310 here in England either :(.
It was suggested that the NF208 would be sold in Indonesia – thanks for confirming that.

how did you install win7?im trying to load it off a USB, and ive followed the instructions to make it active and such.
and set the USB FDD as priority to boot.
but yeah….cant figure out what to do.
well, where are you from? are you from indonesia also that you can get a nf208?
my windows 7 ultimate is installed by the store freely, eventhough it’s not original…
i’m planning to instal with linux, but still can’t afford to download just 3gb of linux, failed in the middle.. will try again soon…just to help a little, if you want to instal from usb, use ultraISO (i always use this to write iso file into usb) or unetbootin(if i am not mistaken, just search the google) to write the iso file into the usb… set boot priority to usb hdd in the bios.. hope this can help, if not, just tell me…
I just bought same model in Thailand, didnt have time for the shop to Install copy Win 7, bought the original DVD same time as
computer in a rush to the airport, now got same install probs as Twilite. Any good links to working set of instructions would be
appreciated, found so many conflicting optionswell, just read your reply… so, you have an original windows 7 dvd..
a little suggestion, take an external dvd drive and install it, if you don’t want to buy 1, go to a desktop, create an ISO image of the dvd (you can search for free iso maker with google), burn it into a 8gb flashdrive by using unetbootin. plug it in your sammy and enter bios setup, set the boot priority to flshdrive, save, restart, it will boot into the win 7 installation, just follow the steps…
