Hi guys 🙂
Im new on here and would like to ask if anyone knows why i am getting problems with viewing HD at 720 and 1080p when i have the Samsung N220 with this feature built in??
Much aprreciated, XBluEyedGurlXok as i’ve posted many times,
1) Make sure the broadcom drivers are installed
2) Ensure that the player you are using supports the use of EXTERNAL codecs (I know Gom player found at http://www.gomlab.com does, Note: Many others can use external codecs too)You simply have to download GOM player
Preferences -> Filter -> (Codec Tab) -> Uncheck H264, and you can probly uncheck H263 and the Xvid/Divx codecs if you have BCM70015This will ensure that the INTERNAL software codecs are NOT used but rather the the hardware ones (e.g the BCM Crystal card)
3) Still not working?
Well, note that BCM70012 and and models before that will ONLY work for Local videos which are encoded used a H.264 codec and not the xvids/divx you find in most AVIs.
I’m not entirely sure if Adobe Flash supports the use of the Broadcom Cards (i’m assuming not) therefore the card will NOT be able to decode youtube HD videos. (UNLESS ofcourse you download them and play them back)Could a mod or something stickie this coz I sure have seen it been posted a lot.
