Hello,
You may have heard about Google Wave … which they describe as being e-mail if it was to be invented now … and is a collaboration tool
It seems to be a mixture of e-mail and chat, and a number of gadgets and robots are starting to appear.
For the moment it is invitation-only … but I have some invites, which I am happy to share, with the sole provision that if I send you an invite please extend the invitation-sharing to other Forum members.

[/quote1260561789]I don’t chirp or tweet or chirrup or squark, and I’m not sure I wish to semaphore or wave or waggle or hokey-cokey. Maybe one day.
I think this will be best used in collaborative projects when you are working with people that are in remote locations. I don’t see it being used as a social tool in any way.
Just needs more people using it. I use it collaborately to jot down stuff and questions for my course, and my course mates are all sharing ideas and solutions and other questions. I think it’s great!
