MemberI have a MS Sidewinder gamepad that has always worked well. There seem to be some quite complex looking ones around these days. I think I’d look for one that just had up/down/left/right and fire lol – but then maybe I am getting on a bit in the gaming years… 😉
Some here: Gamepads<img src="https://www.assoc-amazon.co.uk/e/ir?t=samncblog-21&l=ur2&o=2″ width=”1″ height=”1″ border=”0″ alt=”” style=”border:none !important; margin:0px !important;” />

MemberHi, I would recommend a wired XBox 360 controller. It is supported by many, many games without any hassle. Windows knows that controller right away. Its quite ergonomic and has enough buttons. Also the white colout fits nicely to the NC10, well to the white one at least 😀
Be careful that you buy the wired one! I bought wireless by accident and had to return it 😀

MemberThanx guys,
i’ll be researching those 2 controllers and purchasing at least one of them straight away.
do they come with driver discs? or will my sammy know the controller as soon as i plug in usb port?May 19, 2009 at 10:57 am #191922jez
MemberMine is plug and play 🙂
You can install drivers and reconfigure keys and stuff but I haven’t.

MemberI always liked the Playstation keypad over the first Xbox model (Never tried an Xbox 360) and when I wanted a joypad for MAME, I bought a dedicated PC one and thought it was rather crap, so exchanged that for a USB to Playstation adaptor….
No driver required and XP recognises it fine..

MemberHere is my pad, it’s a Genius Maxfire Pandora, you can get one for around £5 on Ebay etc. I like it because it’s small and portable just like my NC10! It has a wind up USB cable that is housed inside the pad.
It’s perfect for a little Megadrive or SNES on the go!

MemberThat’s the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. Awesome!
Edit: Note that the pictures are of the Genius Maxfire Pandora, not the Pro. The Pro is the fold-up one we’ve discussed in previous threads.

MemberHi there guys and girls,
I was wondering is there like a mini version of the 360 one? Preferably PnP. Because two directional D-pads and sometimes the analog are needed in newer games where camera angles need constant changing…
Thanks a lot.

MemberI have the Saitek P990. I think it’s perfect for a gamepad.
It only costs $22 on Amazon.
I’ve also used an xbox 360 controller on my PC using a wireless adapter.May 21, 2009 at 12:21 pm #191924s162000

[/quote1242908188]Hi, I bought one of these gamepads a while back, I know it’s Playstation style but it’s very compact compared to the standard 360 pad. I will post a comparison pic when I get home tonight.
