Full screen flash disables trackpad scroll

Hi

I got my NC10 a couple of weeks ago and have noticed that putting either flash movies or mediaplayer into full screen mode seems to disable the scroll function of the trackpad.Has anyone else noticed this or is something amiss with my machine?

Hi Steve, I haven’t noticed that problem myself. Does it happen quite consistently?

Yes absoulutely every time I set a movie into fullscreen mode, it doesn’t mater what application I’m using

This happens to me on my Sammy R60+ Have never noticed if it’s the same on my NC10.

I have sort of gotten used to it on the R60 but it is annoying

After typing the above I decided to do a little google research and seems this is not just limited to Sammys but to Adobe Flash player and Synaptics touch pads.

However, one guy states he has a solution, when the trackpad scroll stops functioning press the space bar ! Someone else tried it and it re-enabled the scroll function. I must try this on my R60 tonight as I normally reboot.

No Probs … at least pressing space saves having to reboot, it’s an unusual problem though !

good tip, my nc10 deactivates the scroll everytime. so annoying but the space bar solution works.

I will try the spacebar solution too, my trackpad scroll comes and goes apparently randomly and I never figured out why. Maybe I have a solution now 🙂 Cheers.
