Hi. Recently bought a black NC10 (after lots of research and in particular this excellent website). Love my NC10 and am looking to buy a Flip HD camcorder soon. Aware the NC10 is not HD, but can anyone confirm if the Flip Ultra or Mino HD is compatible with the NC10 please?
I’m hoping to take them both with me on a skiing trip so I can do some editing, playback and charging etc whilst I’m away.
Any advice welcome. Thanks.
Hi welcome, sorry I don’t know but I’m sure someone on here will. I have a cheap Disgo version of that type of thing with just basic resolution, that works fine, I just take the SD card out and put into my NC10 slot to download. Have had no problem with high res stills from my best digital camera.
The Disgo is great for capturing stuff as you go but only average quaility for movies and bad quality for stills, the price though means I’m not scared to strap it to my bike, or hold it on a rollercoaster. It doesn’t have any brackets though so it’s just experiment with gaffer tape. And its not rechargeable. You can buy specific cams that have brackets/clips for helmets, handlebars etc. but not seen HD ones yet. Don’t get the really cheap disgo with no stills though as the screen is too big so it gobbles batteries. If I had enough money I might have gone for the flip.
It’s quite addictive once you start your own mini adventure movies lol
