Finally got round to installing 7 on my N110

Thanks for your reply. After running w7 on n110 for 2 weeks, I reverted it back to xp. My experience? XP is great for n110. W7 is just too slow for ATOM. And the battery life did improves after putting xp back. I just pressed f4 during reboot and chose restore. Everything back to xp in less than 4 mins. GREAT!

BTW, the new batterybar 3.3.1 is wonderful. It is accurately telling the real battery life. now it is back to 8~9 hrs. Cheers.

I’ve had W7 for about a week on my NC10 and it’s fine – not faster than XP but not any slower either in everyday usage (although boot time seems to be quicker). Having said that I have tweaked my NC10 but still have transparency and aero on. Battery life – on 3 bar brightness and wifi on I get ~5.5 hours down from just over 6 in xp, so still plenty.

Same here, I like Win7 and will be keeping it.

I expected a performance hit on moving from Starter to Home Premium… It seems much faster than with Starter!
