Different Question – Does anyone have Windows Live Messenger working on NC10?

I started a previous thread detailing a problem with my NC10 & Windows Messenger but there have been no answers.

I was wondering if this was because:

a) No-one else is experiencing a problem
or
b) No-one else is using Windows Messenger!

Please can you advise if anyone got it working on their NC10 and, if so, was it just using default settings?

I’m using default settings and both WIndows Messenger and Skype are working flawless minus very-minor video hickups

I am using Win Live MSN fine too. A standard install here. Except – the video image seems restricted to “small”. If anyone has a solution for that…?!

Skype fine, I don’t use Windows Live.

I’m using Windows Live and also Skype….They are definately standard settings because I don’t know how to do anything non standard!!!! A mere novice but I love my Black NC10.

I use Digsby instead, much nicer than Messenger and does Yahoo, aim, gmail and others, plus supports twitter, facebook, linkedin, and will monitor your email acconts (pop and imap). All for free!

Doesn’t do Sk(H)ype though. Don’t use it myself.

That Digsby looks useful, I might try that. I like the idea of having everything in one place. I might actually keep track of stuff ;)!

I’ve downloaded and installed Windows Live Messenger, not chatted with anyone yet but it all looks like it’s fine with all my contact list there etc.

I don’t use IM much anymore, but when I do I use Trillian for its multiple IM service support.

LM works fine on mine as does Yahoo Messenger.

Pretty sure i’ve had Skype running on it too, atlhough I have too many computers to be sure…

Windows Live Messenger works absolutely brilliantly on the NC10 I find, I can put the video into large size as well and even full screened on video calls works great. *Thumbs Up*

I have a problem with windows live messenger. When i do video calls the sound coming out of the speakers is jittery. The video is fine except some delays but the web cam delays when i use it by its self anyways. I installed yahoo messenger and the sound works fine just not in windows live messenger.
Ive tried reinstalling it. Ive looked for driver updates but didn’t find any. Please help…..

Althoug the web page of MS for MSN says the screen resolution at least 1024X768 required,

do not hesitate ans run the setup prg. no problems occured when I did it.
