Hi,
I used to run AGKnot video file conversion software on my Celeron desktop to convert ripped DVD .VOB files to .AVI files. (It took several hours!)
Does anyone have any idea how these netbooks manage with some intensive CPU work?

Obviously! My son has more DVDs that you can shake a big stick at…
Using my nc6000 (as it has a DVD drive):
1. Rip with DVD Decrypter – takes 20-30mins
2. Convert with AGKnot to .AVI (480×272 res, size 250MB) – takes 1-2hrs
3. Transfer to N110, convert to PSP file using WinAVI – takes 0.5-1hr.I’m fairly impressed with the N110’s number crunching capability in this respect – it’s certainly better than I was expecting…
Step 1 Download and install DVD VOB Ripper on your pc and launch its program.
Step 2 Click
button to choose from the three menus: Load DVD, Load DVD Folder or Load DVD IFO to choose a vob file from them that you want to convert.
Step 3 Click and open Profile frop-down menu to select a avi format.
Step 4 Hit
to specify a location folder to save output.
Step 5 Start to rip by clicking
button on dvd vob converter.
