Hi there, I really hope someone can help! I’ve spent hours on the net trying to find a solution but unfortunately I know nothing at all about computers and I can’t seem to find a simple step by step answer as to what I should try!
I had Hotspot Shield installed onto my netbook while in China, and it worked ok for a few days, but now when I try to access a secure WIFI network, it’s stuck on ‘Acquiring Network Address.’ It will sometimes connect to an unsecure network, but even then the internet doesn’t actually connect.
I’ve read that changing my SSID might help but I have no idea how to do that…
Does anyone have any ideas??

Hi Shaz, as a first thing to do, have a look at some of the other posts as this comes up quite frequently. You’ll find a few suggestions and things to try.
If that doesn’t help let us know how you get on and we may (or may not) be able to suggest something else ;)!
