Hi
My £12 VGA cable worked fine connecting my netbook to my 32″ LG flatcreen TV until recently. Now I get ‘no signal” and no picture on the TV. I bought 3 new expensive VGA cables and the same problem occurs.
Has anyone else had a problem like this? Do you think I should send my NC10 back to Samsung or is there some kind of driver I should be downloading(I don’t know much about computers)?
Thanks for any suggestions.

To check if the problem is with the sammy are you able to connect a monitor or another TV to it to test the output?
If that works then try another computer connected to your TV to see if that has the fault.
Hope this helps and keep us posted if you have time.
Hi – I had the problem of the TV display sometimes working, sometimes not. I worked out that you need to be at the desktop when you press Fn-F4 and not have the application you’re using (eg a browser) on full screen. You need to minimise the browser first, to get to the desktop, then do Fn-F4, then maximise the browser again once the TV display is on.
Once I twigged this I have had no problems since.

If you extend the external display (rather than mirroring the display) as display 2 then you can set the screen resolution higher to suit the TV resolution.
Hope this helps
