Hello,
I would like to disable Tapping on my NC10.
Specs:
Samsung NC10
Bios: 07CA
OS: Windows 7
Driver: Synaptic v12.2.11.0 Vista x86 and WinXP x86 and v11.1.1.1 WinXP x86 and Vista x86
The problem is that after unticking the box for tapping it gets enabled automatically after a minute or so.
So the first 20x using the touchpad it is still disabled but after than tapping is enabled again :(….
Maybe it is the new bios I installed yesterday I don’t know for sure, b/c after installing win7 the first thing I did was installing the new bios firmware.
Anybody using Win7 with synaptic not having this problem, I am very pleased to hear what driver version of synaptics works with you and tapping stays disabled.
Best Regards
You could try installing DriverMax to bring all your drivers up to date. I’ll check on my touchpad and driver version when I get home 🙂
Yeah thx TCMuffin
OT: is TC standing for total commander 🙂 ?
Do you have tapping properly disabled in Win7?
Did you install the synaptics drivers in Win7 from drivermax?
Cheers,
Jordi

Can you check for me if you can disable tapping properly tonight?
Do you have the latest bios installed?
Can you let tapping be disabled for 1hour, because first 10minutes it stays disabled by me too.
