Tagged: broken speakers
Hello,
My NC10 is ill after 1.5 heathy years so I wonder first what has been the life span for you?
The problem is suddenly the sound makes strange noises and delayed speech both on Youtube ansd Spotify. Sammie is my source of only msic so I need to sort it out.
Wold you say the speakers are dying and need replacing or is it a software problem?
I noticed a red light is always on now on the top left bottom signs below the mouse. Would it relate to something wrong?
Thank you

This is the second question i posted recently with no answers, if this is a mate’s forum, no need to make it public.
Hi Mymy
To be fair the forum has been very quiet lately and many members won’t post unless they have something worth contributing. This is definitely is not a “mate’s forum” and you will often find unconnected people from all over the world responding to a thread.
Having read your NC10 problems, I have no idea what is wrong. To rule out a software glitch I would backup your existing operating system and reload the original image taken when you first setup the machine. If the error is still there then it is likely to be a hardware fault.
Good luck.
Nobby
Mymy-
I don’t have access to a NC10 so I can’t comment on the Red Light issue. Sound. You say the sound is delayed, when you get sound does it sound good? If the sound is OK, then it is not hardware related. It has to be software. Think back and have you installed any new software or updates in recent memory? It could even be a driver update! NobbyNobbs could be correct in backing up all the files you wish to save, and do a full restore of the OS. I would rather have the disk wiped but that would also remove the install files.
You could do something like run The Crap Cleaner and use the registry checker to see if there is a bit of trouble there. Something is causing a corruption of the audio and it’s hard to even start to armchair troubleshoot something you don’t have in front of you!! 🙁 JohnP
