Brand new NC20 Faulty Webcam Camera?

ok, so this might be an even more stupid question, but i’ve searched everywhere!!
is my brand new Samsung NC20 Faulty? should I send it back?

the camera would not show up at all, then I discovered it only shows when the screen is opened fully, it then somtimes disables when you start closing the screen, but sometimes it dosnt, this isnt a ‘feature’ is it to save power or anything?

While looking at the settings for the device ControlPanel>Scanners adn Cameras it seems to show/disapear intermitently and even when its showing, if you click to test it it only sometime shows an image adn otherwise freezes the whole computer requiring a forced reboot

I think it is some connection problem, you will most probably have to get another one 🙁

Hi, just got my white NC20 this week and the same thing happened to me when I disabled the “Legacy USB support” parameter in the BIOS. Is there any link between them? – Don’t know. But I re-enaled it and now my webcam works again. Did you first try resetting the BIOS to its default parameters?
