Good morning all.
I was wondering what is the best softeware to use to allow me to download You Tube videos. I have booked marked some useful videos on mountain bike repair but I am looking for a way to download them onto my NC10 so i don’t have to keep going online to view them.
Thanks and best regards
Andy
Use firefox and download greasemonkey script from the adons on the firefox website and then get the youtube download script.
You can then download in m4v or other formats.
Greasemonkey: https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/748
download script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/21774

The Reaplayer browser also does this quite nicely.

I use this as well, works really good and comes with the free realplayer.

Obviously please only download videos where copyright allows you to do so 🙂
i’ve been using ‘any video convertor’ . seems to do a reasonable job.
The DownloadHelper add-on for FireFox works well.
I ‘think’ YouTube has sorted out the copyright issues it had. Anyone may correct me if I am wrong.
download helper add on for firefox works for me as well just fine , it converts the video as well, ,it leaves a small “watermark” but its in the corner of the screen and you hardly notice it to be honest
