Hi,
I’m user of N130 and from about 10 days I’m in hospital and I test my Sammy more often.
Most time I use it on my knees.In that 10 days i heard three times a strange sound from my Sammy – BEEP! (one second signal).
Hmm… It was something like heads in broken HDD with warrning one secong beep…
There’s something mechanical in this so i was thinkig about HDD but mayby there is any buzzer to warn about something else (?)
There was just this beep and nothing happend..Two times netbook was on my knees but today Sammy was just lying alone on my bed and BEEP!
Hmmm.. strange… CPU heating?
What you think?
Is there any warrning system in this little Sammy?
Have anyone similar situation?Could be the HDD doing a recalibration run. Nothing usually to worry about, but often caused by heat issues. Try to ensure the fans have clear air paths and the machine is cooling properly.
