i hate that it’s on the left and you need 2 hands to chang ethe volume/brightness
and i hate how the windows key is on the right side
thanks, but i guess even with that program fn keys can’t be remapped
I don’t believe either of those will work, I looked into this for a long time when I first got my Sammy and it seems that the fn key is a non-standard key that can only be controlled by proprietary software, such as the apps that come with the netbook.
If you do find a way, I’d be interested to know how, but I wouldn’t hold out much hope.
Much of the time the Fn key is handled by the keyboard; no keycode for it ever makes it to your OS. I’m pretty sure that’s how the NC10’s keyboard works.

Yeah for a few of the key combinations that is correct, the [Fn] key itself can’t be remapped.
You can still map other key combinations to do the same thing though, so for example making [Ctrl] + [Up] increase the brightness is possible, disabling the [Fn] + [Up] isn’t (actually this is a bad example as it is possible to disable this combination).
