One completely off-topic, and one that is slightly related to my Sammy netbook!
The first one being that I am now officially an adult, having left college for good today, although, “For Good” actually means “You still have to come back for revision sessions… oh, and you’ve got exams too!” And, so, to our tutors, our graduation from college means that we are all now adults, which is a scary thought!
The second one is, as I’ve left college, I’m starting Uni in September! And, I’m intending to take Sam with me, and so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a bag to transport him in safely? Ideally one that doesn’t paticularly look like a laptop bag, and, if it makes any difference, I already have a swordfish sleeve for him that he’ll be in. So, has anyone got any recommendations for me, even just of good brands to look at?
Thanks everyone!
Kath 🙂
Edited because my two years of college clearly haven’t helped my ability to spell… it’s things, not tings!
tuxgirl – Congratulations and good luck with Uni in September 🙂
There is a big thread Bags, cases, slipcovers etc on the forum which may give some ideas but if you already have a sleeve then a rucksack with some padding may be something to consider.
Hope this helps
I’ve heard that Prada bags are quite nice
I’m apparently also blind, as I’ve never noticed the accesories and external devices section! 🙂 Thanks Jeepers01, I shall check it out now!
I think Prada are a little out of my budget Tonytb! Saying that, one would be completely wasted on me, I’d probably wreck it within a week 🙂
I got an amazingly good thick neoprene sleeve from poundland for mine, it feels nice and cushiony to absorb bumps and only cost £1 but then you would want a case or rucsac as well probably.

I think I may have the same sleeve as you 🙂 Poundland is amazingly good for stuff like that, and I got (for my big laptop) a tiny bluetooth dongle too!
