MemberHaving received my 9 cell from
the HK supplier, I have been testing
it out on my NC-10 Blue. While it obviously protrudes quite a
bit from the bottom of the computer,
creating meanwhile a very nice angle
for typing, the 9 cell greatly extends
operating life!I put a fully charged 9 cell on the NC-10
in the morning, taking it to work on Capitol
Hill where I work. At the end of the day,
which can often be 10 – 12 hours, when I
get it home, after some fairly constant although
on and off use, I’m still at 35 percent batt.Would be interestinged in hearing from
others about their experience with this
9 cell batt.February 17, 2009 at 5:58 pm #184153Logan
MemberHello!
Sounds good. I quite liked the look of the 9 cell and how it would affect typing angle, so quite pleased to hear you say it seats the NC10 at a god typing angle. How about weight? Does the NC10 feel much more heavier?
How much did you pay if you don’t mind me asking and which eBay seller?
Many thanks

MemberI haven’t really seen any pictures of the 9 cell fitted to a nc10, have you got any pictures from various angles?

MemberVery interesting dxace1, does it effect the how far the screen can be pushed back?

Memberwow so unnatural. I would like to see other pics and see if it’s really unsightly.

MemberAh, yes that is a good point — I never checked how the big battery affects the screen — but the typing angle is just fine — the screen with the 9 cell can only go back to the point of the battery height in the back but the extra hours are worth it — I have been sitting here at a Panera doing constant web and email without the NC-10 going into low power/sleep and I am still at 66 percent on the battery — that’s after 3+ hours.
