Samsung N120. Love it. Great workhorse. Lately though, even when plugged in I get a “79% battery power remaining indicator” and when I unplug the power starts dropping FROM the 79%. When plugged in Skype is telling me I don’t have enough “power”. Why can’t I get more than 79% power charge (Computer one year old)? I’ve changed my power settings to test system and I get the same icon notice all the time. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks
Becouse of “Battery live extend” option is ON. You can turn it OFF in Bios.
With this option battery cannot charge more over 80%
DebbyANYC – You probably have the Battery Life Extender option set to max battery charge of 80%
Instead of trying to adjust the power settings to give you the maximum possible run time per battery charge, this tool actually tries to increase the life of your battery as measured in months, not hours. It does this by telling the computer to charge your battery to 80% capacity instead of 100% which theoretically helps give you at least a few extra charge cycles in the long run.
Hope this helps

Just noticed your post after posting mine.
Well at least we are thinking along the same lines 🙂
Is the battery life extender available on the NC10??
