rmcgandaraMemberI have used Wubi. And it installed very fast (I am still incredule). Still have not managed to update wireless driver.
But that is no surprise as I am a total linux newbie…rmcgandaraMemberME for me…. in a brief, are there big differences between the two?
rmcgandaraMemberI have the old version and I can €€€€€
rmcgandaraMemberDoes this program actually speaks true?
I have mine since monday. have recharged it 3 times and always left in use the battery until prompt to connect the nc10 to the mains.
10% in 1 week, would it mean that my battery is useless in 3 months if I keep using the same way?!!!
lol I don’t believe that program…rmcgandaraMemberI’m with Hitachi HTS543216L9A300.

Dan : I show that for this system the PC2 6400 is guaranteed compatible.
[/quote1227653682]This we already knew, that it was compatible. the question is will it run at 800 or 667?? because if it is going to run at 667, there is no point buying an 800.

rmcgandaraMembermy brand new 1Gb says max graphics memory 128 MB ram. maybe it can be set up on the bios.
rmcgandaraMemberfor me I was always a fan of small laptops. I did own a 14.1 inch before, but I always wanted a 12″. After my HP 14.1 was stolen I bought a second hand Toshiba r100 of ebay, I am quite happy with it but… it is an old machine and I am reacing my last year of phd so i needed something that would work on the go (just cos that is what I need on a laptop) and something that would be more “recent”.
I always liked those 11.1 sony (way too expensive), but i am from the opinion that there is no point buying an extra powerfull laptop and spending loads of money if you only use it to browse the net, use the office package and download some movies, mp3 etc.
I was actually planning to buy the new macbook 13.3 aluminum. In the end I felt it was to heavy, to big, and to expensive.
After a long decision about colours I have decided on the black version, which I have ordered on monday from dixons, the 293-5 deal, and hasn’t yet arrived! I wish I have read the RAC deal from play.com first. next day delivery and 299-5%! (damn!)rmcgandaraMembergood tip! thanks mate!

I hope so! 😀
rmcgandaraMemberyes I guess all the opinions are similar.
I was very close to get the white, but in the end decided for the black…
i might be tempted to get a white later on… It happend with the DS and PSP I got both white and black versions.
I still don’t know which I prefer – I like them both!😀
rmcgandaraMemberI have found this on flickr. It might interest someone
http://www.flickr.com/photos/29255658@N07/3002325820/rmcgandaraMemberBlack or white still haven’t decided…
White does look cool and the mate finish looks great.
Black is also cool but it looks just like many other laptops, and the glossy top it is making my decision going for white
Would the white get too dirty? (I wash my hands regularly…)
does the fingerprints in the glossy top be irritating me all the time?
Does the glossy black feels more “cheap” than the matte white?Too bad I could only get the nc10 on white in my hands (in a local currys) – Decision time…
Jez I know you “handled” both, what is your feel? did I read somewhere in this forum that you regret not going for the white? -
