MemberIf you could choose what features your ideal mobile device had, be it mobile phone, netbook, ultraportable, MID etc, what features would you choose? The features do not have to be currently available, but realistic.
My ideal device would be the size of a large mobile phone, like the touchscreen Windows mobile devices currently available, with the following features:
– Gesture based control
– 3D holographic pico projector
– OLED flexible display with optional transparency levels
– NXT ultra light, thin and durable speakersFebruary 5, 2009 at 4:40 pm #182644Britman
MemberNot sure on the gesture control, that might be ok is you’re standing in front of a large screen but on a mobile device you could end up whacking some poor sap in the mush.
I’d add some sort of fuel cell tech.

The new fuel-based batteries always make me feel as if they’ll blow up so easily. In saying that, it doesn’t stop us using batteries everyday in items such as mobile phones to laptops, with the latter type blowing up with regular occurrence over the last few years.February 6, 2009 at 11:42 am #182645BluebirdNC10
Memberideally a cross between the Nokia N96 and the Nokia 5800.
Keep the Sky TV tuner from the 5800 with the style and memory capacity of the N96, but throw in a smaller housing and an 8megapixel camera like on the Samsung mobiles. Oh and a touch screen that works.
