For those of you who are intersted in some truly portable external speakers for the NC10, these could do the job:

im using an lg msp 100 portable speaker. while it does not have the bass of the xmini it has the benefit of being able to output stereo sound and is simpler and more portable in my opinion. also the battery life is great and so is sound quality.
best thing about it is the price i got mine from ebay for 11 dollars shipped! it was so cheap i bought two just in case.
