Windows 7 samsung utils compatability

I have installed Windows 7 as my secondary boot, but Im having some issues with running both EasyDisplay and Magic Keyboard, which I need to make the keyboard shortcuts work.

I have applied XP compatibility to both of the program exe’s

I have copied shortcuts to both programs to the Startup folder, and made both of the shortcuts compatible for XP

however both don’t seem to work, Magic Keyboard says its already running, but none of the keyboard shortcuts work, while easy display manager works when you run the exe under XP compatibility but doesn’t work at startup.

Any help would be great, I love this OS and am only a few steps away from adopting this as my primary boot, at least for 30 days anyway, there’ll be an extended version somewhere Im sure.

Why are you copying anything to the startup? I don’t use the magic keyboard because it doesn’t add much, however I use easy display. Just run the installer and it will set itself up to automatically launch. I have all the fn keys except the speed and magic doctor which I don’t use everything else works just fine.

As for the 30 day – go to the windows 7 site and get a valid key for yourself. It’s free 🙂

Im copying shortcuts to the startup folder because after installation both programs were not running at bootup (even though I checked all settings to do so)

and I use magic keyboard for the volume up/down, a useful tool when watching video.

I’ve installed the XP version, I’ll uninstall them and reinstall the Vista version, since they share similar archetecture I suspect they’re the versions I should be using. I’ll report back this evening.
