If you’re interested in trying out Windows 7, you’ll need to get your skates on.
As reported in The Register, Microsoft has announced that you have until 10 February to download Windows 7 Beta.
“No matter who you are, though, the Windows 7 beta will cease to work on August 1”
So that means that on August 1you’ll have to either fork over some money to MS or reinstall another OS on your computer? That sounds like a huge PITA.
I think you should reinstall another OS… ’cause i doubt about a release of a commercial Seven on August…
I’m sure if you ring Microsoft and tell them you’re changing to Linux after August they will extend the deadline 😉
There will be plenty of later versions released between now and then… 🙂
