MemberQ: What kind of computer do I need to run Battlefield Heroes?
We’re currently aiming for a minimum requirement of…
* Operating System: Windows XP or Windows Vista
* CPU: 1.0 GHz
* RAM: 512 Mb (1Gb on Windows Vista)
* Video Card: 64Mb DirectX compliant video card with at least pixel shader 2.0 support
* Hard Drive space: 1Gb of space is required to install the game
* Internet connection: 256kbit Cable/DSL connectionI was in the beta eariler this year, and it was really awesome. Does anyone think it will be able to run on Samsung NC10? If you overclock to 2.0 GHz and have 2 Gig Ram?
I am mostly worried about the integrated graphics. They suck so much.. (I hear)If Samsung eventually will get Nvidia Ion(9400m) then how do you think it would run in comparrison?

MemberIt sounds like it will meet the min specs to me. Some games do run OK on the NC10 but anything “modern” fails miserably to be honest. That said, BF:H is a little different due to its graphic style.
Unfortunately I never got into the closed Beta but will be trying it out as soon as I get my hands on it!
My hunch would be that if gaming is important to you then wait. But then gaming on a 10″ screen will never be ideal, I find the screen size the biggest problem when playing older games that run well. You might want to consider a traditional laptop with a larger screen?

MemberI think the beta has been tested on the 1000h and worked okay at around 20 – 25fps. I’ll search out the link…

MemberThe good thing about BFH is that you don’t really have to look at the HUD all that much. It’s just aim and shoot, which is why I think it would be perfect as a game-on-the-road.
I loved the closed beta. One of the must fun games I recall playing. still has a ton of work, but I really liked it…
