MemberThis is a long shot but would be very grateful. I have used my Sammy for a number of work presentations. I use PowerPoint with the plex add in which is very cool but means that most wireless mice don’t work very well with it. Upshot is you have a more flash presentation but have to sit next to the keyboard, not nearly so nice.
Now some clever bods have configured the wii remote to do just this job. However, I can’t get the remote to pair with Sammy. Sammy sees it as a bluetooth but doesn’t want to pair. The geeks say if you are asked to enter a pin number just go to the next step. However, when I do this, the pairing fails.
Any advice from you clever computer people? Many thanks

Memberall explained here
To actually get the WiiMote working as a media remote you need an additional bit of software – either WiinRemote, GlovePie or Bluetunes. I personally use Bluetunes as it let’s me easily use the WiiMote as a mouse on it’s own as well as controlling my music.
I had a few problems connecting the WiiMote first time I tried, but it does work.
Hold 1+2 on the WiiMote and at the same time search for a new Bluetooth Device on the Sammy.
Keep holding 1+2, select the Nintendo device that pops up.
Next screen is the passcode screen. While still holding 1+2, click skip.
Next screen configures the services for the device. Still hold 1+2, and tick the box that says about Mouse/Presentation mode.
Release 1+2, click finish.
Bluetooth Neighbourhood will open on the Sammy – goto Browse nearby devices and you should see the WiiMote there with a double ended arrow on it – if so then it is connected.
Install Bluetunes and run the application.
If all is well, the WiiMote will vibrate briefly – if not Bluetunes will display an error message about the WiiMote not being found.
Downside is you need to repair the WiiMote each time you need to use it after rebooting.
