Widgets (Yahoo, Google, etc)

Normally don’t find much use for widgets but I’m thinking it may be more useful on a netbook when on the move.

Any recommended widgets people use? Is running a widget engine likely to be a heavy drain on the battery (I normally find they are a bit bloated and uninstall them).

I like widgets, I use wideScape weather and Month Calendar, along with Rocket dock (not a widget)

I hate those. Every widget engine uses much Ram and ruins my screen space and CPU power.
