Hey guys,
I’ve just got a new 3G dongle from Vodafone. Thing is I’m have trouble with it, when I first put it in the software all installed OK. But now when I put the dongle in the software does not see it and no device is found. Tried on XP and vista and get the same thing.If I look at the network connections the modem is listed and can conect via that but the software still doesn’t see the modem and so I can check usage.
Anyone had this experience?
i did with the first one i bought…and then it found the device but wouldn’t register the sim..
sounds like it might be faulty – have you tried it in another machine?
yeah on my sammy and my main PC running vista. Thing is I also tried under Windows 7 and it worked.
Vodafone where absolutely no help, wasted 30 minutes and god now how much money phoning them.Hmm, sorry but mine worked with no problems. I use mine on the top left USB port on my NC10. Maybe the software didn’t install properly? When I first plugged it in it seemed to take forever to install.
