The spec of the NC10 is a bit low for Vista, though with 2GB RAM Vista will run ok. I had Vista on my NC10 for a while.
You just need to find the right drivers, which are quite easy to find as there are links in the various Vista threads here.
I find Vista runs sweet as a nut (2Gb RAM) even with all visual effects turned on
Looking at the Experience Score it gets a 2.7 overall which is because of the Gaming Graphics Score but from the stats it’s more than up to the job. Just follow the instructions inthe Vista threads regarding drivers

Primary HDD 5.3Installed Vista Home Premium – running fine with the same Vista Score.
Only problem so far is the microphone. webcam working OK with Skype, but no sound from microphone.
Is there a driver issue with it.Doh!
Had two mics installed. re-ran driver setup, and now cured.
