MemberThe webcam doesn’t work here (Vista Home Premium) either. Tried different drivers and the PlayCam software of the 1.3 namuga webcam with no succes.

MemberFor those of you who are running Vista, what kind of battery life are you getting (with standard settings, 3-bar brightness (37.5%), Wifi on, i.e Normal Battery Mode in XP)?
My reason for not running Vista and keep XP is mostly due to the better battery life you are supposed to get. I’ve read that Vista makes the laptop (netbook 😉 ) run out of battery faster. Is this true/false?December 2, 2008 at 12:52 pm #173226jez

Vista
[/quote1228222143]I’m sure most people here know but Vista is currently in the list of unsupported Operating Systems on the Samsung site. So don’t be too suprised if there are some probs and no solutions forthcoming.
Like, I said, I’m sure most people install this OS knowing the risk but I wanted to make that clear 🙂
From their FAQ:

MemberI’ve seen the battery meter show up to just shy of 8 hours on low settings, and routinely see it in the 6 hour range with Wifi on and brightness around 3.
I never ran XP on it, so I can’t say how it compares

MemberHi, I’m trying to get Vista Ultimate onto an NC20. Mostly running but I can’t get the function keys working. I tried Ghostfury’s advice (-Easy Display Manager-Easy Battery Manager3-Easy Speedup Manager from samsung X360-34P). When I try to run Magic Keyboard I get an error message saying that Easy Speedup Manager has performed an illegal operation etc. In the Magic Keyboard Hotkey setup, the Hotkey options are greyed out. I notice that Magic Keyboard only seems to be available for XP.
Anyone any ideas?

[/quote1281889393]Welcome to the forum.I followed your link but did not see any Samsung Netbook drivers applicable to this thread?
Are you able to provide an alternative direct link? -
