jez – am I missing something in the profile settings? Is there a way for users to set, say 50 posts per page for themselves? Some of the long threads get tiresome to skim, specially using a track pad.

There is a global setting to do that but I want to leave that at 10. The bandwidth usage on the forum is going crazy 🙁
I will ask the CMS authors if there is a way to customise it for individuals. There are hooks in the system for user preferences and I don’t think it would be too hard for them to implement it.
A new major release is on the way actually – probably next year now, and the forum is going to be much improved. I hope!
