I have read conflicting reports on the memory speed of the US version of the NC10. On newegg.com it lists as ddr2 800 but elsewhere I see it listed as ddr2 667. Anyone know for sure which is correct in the US model before I place an order?
Misprint on Samsung’s websiite. The memory in the NC10 is 667MHz DDR2 SO-DIMM. It will however run at 533MHz because the FSB speed on the Intel Atom N270. The chipset itself does however support 800MHz RAM, but can never be used fully.

This is the memory timings. They’re the same ones listed in the previous screen for 533 MHz, so that’s the speed at which the memory is running.[MOD] Resized pics for you!
Thanks for the quick replies. Just ordered a 2gig corsair ddr2 667 stick. Looking forward to testing it out.
Yeah, I was double checking the memory speed myself before ordering some upgraded 2GB. I called Samsung to confirm (although my NC10 CPU-Z agrees with the above). But I wanted to check.
Samsung Customer service said it was DDR2 800MHz. I called a ram maker to ask what they recommend—they said DDR2 800MHz. Samsung really needs to update their product sheet.
The 945GME can only run 533 MHz and the 945 GSE can only run 533 and 667 MHz. EIther way, neither is 800. I’m a little miffed at Samsung that they would have that data wrong internally.
