The un-boxing video is phenomena which has grown with the expansion of YouTube. I had mixed feelings about them, they almost seem to be a cult thing, but then there is a kick to be had from opening a new piece of kit.
This thrill can be experienced only once so why not share it?When I started to look at Netbooks I found that I was watching the videos as part of the decision process and began to enjoy them and find them useful. Many are just ordinary folk like me showing what you get in the box and what the product looks like.
One brave lad holds his WebCam in one hand and attempts a one hand unboxing. In a moment of difficulty Grand Ma’s nail varnished hand creeps in from off screen and hangs on to the stubborn packaging. All superb human stuff.There wasn’t a Blue Sammy Video so when mine arrived I did my bit. Over 1000 folk have viewed it so far and some have commented with their thanks.
