What’s the quick/easy way ti turn off Bluetooth or Wifi? I tried disabling blue tooth but the sammy was throwing errors trying to go into standby mode. There’s probably an easier option right in front of me though. Anyone?
The wifi is easy with the FN + F9 key. Turns it on and off.
For the bluetooth I right click the tray icon and click on Stop the Bluetooth Device.
I travel a lot and use both of these. I was on a plane this week and I was getting a wifi signal from an HP computer somewhere on the plane. I didn’t want them to be able to connect to me (is that possible?) and read my files or something. Same thing with bluetooth. Guy next to me had his Mac out and I figured it was possible for my NC10 to look for his mouse.
Someone has created a little batch file you can click on to toggle on and off. Its in the forum somewhere. I can’ look for it now but if someone find it I’ll pop both of these points into the FAQ 🙂
