OK, I need to decide ID I am willing to send my 1 week old NC10 to Samsung as they are requesting for the darn screen problem discussed here. If I do, what would be the opinions of those here regarding my procedure before boxing? My est guess is:
-FULL Backup to my External Hard Drive?
-Remove my 2 GIG Ram & put the stock 1 GIG back in case they replace computer?
-Wipe Free Space with Eraser AFTER deleting everything
-Restore to original factory condition as I received it.
-Cry & whine till I have no tears left cuz my new Netbook is gone!Really do appreciate any tips. I am weighing the possibility of just not dealing with this and just keeping it and hope for the best? They never DID answer my question as to if it is even something to worry about. VERY confused but very grateful Samsung is willing to step up & handle this possible problem!
MikeSounds like a plan to me. I would seriously suggest that you really do send it back, you will regret it later if you don’t. Please note that when sending it back to package it well.
Well I am so nervous about that ( AND depressed), I figured since they offered to have it picked up & pay shipping, I might buy a small “SAFE” and put it inside to protect it? I mean, who care if it weighs more than I do….. 🙂
If you have only had it for a week why can’t you just take it back to the store and get a brand new one?
