If you’re happy with a generic brand (no reason why not) then you can find a few on eBay that ship from Japan, China, etc. For example, this.
In fact, you can use any generic AC adaptor as long as it has the correct type of tip (some have multiple tips that can be connected), outputs 19V DC at at least 2.1 amps.
Can I ask an (American) question, I have just bought an NC10 and am travelling to America soon, the replacement AC cable I need to be able to power/charge the NC10, is it a 2 or 3 pin kettle plug? and I take it that anwers also answers, do I need a 2 or 3 pin AC plug?

Welcome to the site SandLake. I’m not sure I fully understand the question, but I’m going to have a go at answering it anyway!
If you are visiting the US for a short period of time then you should probably use a standard UK/US travel adaptor (accepts 3pin UK plug and converts it to 2pin US plug). See pic.
If you’re going for a longer period of time then it might be worth taking a US figure of eight cable to replace the standard UK cable that came with the AC power adaptor. I.e. get a cable that has a figure of 8 plug at one end and a 2pin US plug at the other and use it with the power supply that came with your NC10. See pic.
Thanks for that. I thought it was a (2 pin) figure 8 plug but looking at the laptops in the office they all seem to be (3 pin) cloverleaf or mickey mouse plugs.
I have just bought a figure of eight cable (as in your picture) from ebay – and I beleive that I will be able to use it on my (Continental) flight as well.
