in order to get good boot times i have begun to put the nc10 in sleep mode instead of shutting down
does anyone have any experience of what kind of battery life we can expect in sleep mode, will it take a chunk of battery to leave it in sleep mode for more than a day?
in other news, i found my charger on my desk th other day and couldn’t figure out what it was for.. i’ve had my nc10 for over a week but charge it so rarely i forgot what the charger looked like
I charged mine overnight, unplugged it in the morning and went to work – by 6pm it was down to 93% which I think is fair enough.
lol, so potentially like five days of standby.
well actually, iall i did was close the lid in the morning, how do you actually put it into hibernation mode or is that it?
Impressive standby times.
Hibernate is best, but I don’t do it because it eats and fragments hard-disk space.
Standby is cool, but these lil’ guys boot up so dang quick, I just shut it down if it’s a matter of saving battery for an airplane trip or something.
