Sim city 4 and Locomotion

both work well. Locomotion is much more smoother due to its low system requiremnts but sc4 is a little slower on larger sclae maps but is still an anjoyable experiance and seems more suited for widescreen gaming.
ill be testing half life 2, football manager 2009 and civ 4 beyond the sword over the weekend.

is it playable with the trackpad? That’s what is putting me off strategy games, but actually most have a full set of keyboard shortcuts?

its definatly playable, there are some strategy games like age of empires conquerors that you need to use WSAD instead of the arrow keys due to the pace of the game, but sc4 and civ4 are fine
