This is a weird question, well I think it’s weird as I’ve never experienced anything like this before. When I am using the IE browser I somehow manage to shrink the pages to postage stamp size and I have no idea how I am doing this. The browser window stays the same size, but the page is miniturised to literally the size of a stamp. I’m thinking this must have something to do with the touchpad as I’m still getting the hang of its position on the keyboard platform. Does anyone know what I am doing to achieve this undesirable shrinking, and how I can undo it without having to restart IE.
cheers
Al
Hi, you have the “Pinch” gesture of touch pad enabled.
In IE this has the same effect as pressing CRTL and using your scroll wheel on your mouse, this causes IE to zoom in or out.
Go to Control Panel – Mouse – Device Settings to enable/disable the Pinch setting.
yeah the pinch was too sensitive so when ever i used two finger scrolling i ended up zooming in and out which annoyed me. Turn it off and your life will be a lot happier.
Much obliged. Can’t believe I haven’t encountered this in 20 years of “mousing”
