try using a brico pack , google it and you shall find , they work quite well and you can uninstal bits you dont want or need , I use windowblinds with rocket dock to get the mac os look , tried mac os on my old asus 701 , was not really sold on it , guess I am used to my windows software too much to change ..Just finished getting my desktop sorted, been messing about with it all weekend!

wow, scoped some really clean desktops on this thread. Here are two pics, one is my current desktop and the other is a pic of my cube six desktop interface. In the picture, you can see 3 sides of the cube. Its a windows rip off of XGL.
