has anybody bought a new black nc10 yet?
i was wondering if the black nc10s has any screen blotches on them?
There’s a few threads on this already which you may want a read through, but the general consensus is that the newer NC10s (regardless of colour) are blotch-free.
Hope this helps and allays your fears!
I havent done a full analysis but based on samples from the backend Sammy Survey results then as far as the earlier batches go colour isn’t a factor (mind you neither is label date).
It does appear though that the reported blotch rate is falling (went as high as 14% currently running at just under 10% on just over 360 responses) as newer batches are coming out so it does look like Samsung have sorted it.
I had received a black nc10 a week ago from Newegg here in the states – no blotches, everything was packaged beautifully.
I’ve had the NC10 (blue) since mid-December, and yesterday was the first time I noticed the blotches. As pointed out it’s really only noticeable on a white background.
The problem is that when found it’s thereafter noticed, and as stared it seemed to get worse. When I saw it I looked at this forum to confirm that was the problem. A few £$%^&( words, and thoughts of “will Currys take it back”.
I then had to go out for a few hours, and when I came back I could hardly see it.
So, although it is there, is it worth the hassle of repair as it is not particularly bad.
The question is will it get worse if left.
