I have been using my NC10 for two weeks now and am very happy with it, but I am having problems with the Updater. Originally it worked fine, but problems arose when it actually went to update itself to a newer version. When it downloads and installs a new version I lose the desktop icon and when I go into run from the start system and search for it, it fails to open when I click on it. Does anyone have any ideas?
You could try look for the exe of the software by browsing the Program files folder, generally C:/Program Files, and looking for a Samsung folder with the program you’re looking for contained within.
Another option is to uninstall the updater and download and install the updates yourself when you need/want them. There’s a thread with versions and links for drivers. It also links to the support sites where you can get all of the updates, including software updates for the various Samsung programs.
