Seems the release date is August and the specs look very good with i5 and i7 processors, 11, 12 and 15 inch non relective screens.
Early rumours of price suggests similar to the chromebook so this will be a no brainer for me 🙂Very similar specs to the Series 9 so I’m not sure what the marketing strategy is here.
Hope this helps
July 10, 2011 at 4:35 pm #220050jezMemberThanks Jeepers, maybe it won’t be quite so “premium”? ie cheaper and bulkier?
July 10, 2011 at 7:09 pm #220055linhlyMemberlooks good buy i doubt the price will similar to the chrome book.
July 17, 2011 at 5:52 pm #220053FidgeteerMemberJeepers mentioned the price because the person in the video offers a figure. She guesses, based on Samsung’s projected retail price of $799, that it will be closer to $699 for the street price. I favor the black and silver model in terms of specs, however, and prices weren’t given for those.
It will be interesting to see the sales prices on the entire Series series 6-8 months after launch. The MacBookAirs’ pricing looks cheaper than the 9 now, but Apple never allow their products to be marked down. Samsung does, and I’m hoping the Series 3 will eventually take the spot I’ve been reserving for an NF-310.

Also the 12.5″ has no graphics card, only Intel GMAs and have i5 processors.
The 15.6″ has a large range of models, with i3, i5 or i7 processors, some have NVidia Graphics cards, others Intel GMAs. This seems to be the most powerful of them.

Can’t find anything about the 11.6″ one yet. -
